Our Story

SEVENTEEN YEARS ON
THE FACTORY FLOOR.

The name carries a personal meaning. When I founded the company in 2007, I chose to call it Big Toor and Sons as a tribute to my father — "Big Toor," because he was the senior figure of the Toor family, and I wanted the business to carry his name forward.

Before founding the company, I spent nine years working as a sourcing manager in a streetwear/sportswear manufacturing unit, gaining hands-on experience in how sourcing and production decisions are made. In 2007, I started Big Toor and Sons from a small production space, serving local clients while building the foundation for something bigger. By 2009, we'd shipped our first global order, to a client in New Zealand who remains with us today, more than fifteen years later. Our early work centered on sportswear and riding gear for these markets.

2012 was the turning point. In a single year, we secured our own manufacturing license, brought knitting fully in-house, built our own embellishment setup, and shipped our first major streetwear order: 30,000 hoodies for a UK client. That order marked the start of streetwear becoming a core part of our production. It was also the year we stopped depending on outside vendors for fabric and finish, and started controlling production in-house.

Since then, the business has continued to grow — a U.S. client with us since 2018, four collections now in production, and buyers who return order after order. The standard has not changed since day one: if a fabric lot or a production run isn't right, we don't let it slide. We catch it, and we fix it. Seventeen years later, that's still the rule this factory runs on.

Our Manufacturing Model

BUILT AROUND
GREATER CONTROL.

Each stage of production is managed within our manufacturing facility, providing greater visibility, consistency, and process control throughout the production cycle. From fabric development and cutting to sewing, embellishment, and final inspection, each order follows one coordinated workflow under the same management. This integrated approach helps maintain quality, improve traceability, and support consistent results from sampling through bulk production.
